The new list editor interface, which allows users to customize primary lists by renaming, resizing, reordering, hiding, or locking columns, as well as renaming, reordering, and hiding list activity buttons. Role administrators can now configure lists for other user roles without needing to log in as a user with that role type, streamlining list configuration management. Updates to dashboards include added table view hyperlinks for event functions and surveys, enhancing navigation within the platform. Additionally, improvements to the email editor now allow users to delete images from the image gallery. Bug fixes address issues related to event creation, CV Online settings, committee notebook functionality, invoice creation, and event notebook fields, ensuring smoother operation of the platform. Overall, these updates enhance customization options, streamline workflows, and resolve existing issues within ClearVantage.

New Features

  • List Editor

    • All primary lists now utilize the new list editor interface for list configuration.

    • The list editor allows users to rename, resize, reorder, hide, or lock list columns. Additionally, list activity buttons can now be renamed, reordered, and hidden as well.

    • Users may elect to save their list configurations just for their own user account, or if they are a role administrator they may save them for their entire user role.

    • Role administrators can configure lists for other user roles without needing to log in as a user with that role type. To do this:

      • Choose "Load list configuration from a different role or user" under "More Options"

      • Select the desired list configuration

      • Make changes to the configuration in the list editor interface

      • When you are done, select "Save list configuration to a different role" under "More Options"

      • Select the originating role again to save the updates back to that role. Users with that role type will receive the update the next time they refresh their browser or log into CV Online.

  • Dashboards

    • Added table view hyperlinks for event functions:

      • To generate a direct link to an event function notebook, use any of the following column titles:

        • "SessionFunction", "SessionFunc", "EventFunction", "EventFunc", "EvtFunc", "EvtFunction"

        • The data value in the column should indicate the event code and function code separated with a pipe delimiter, for example: "SESSIONALTCD|FUNCTIONCD"

    • Added table view hyperlinks for surveys:

      • To generate a survey notebook link, use any of the following column titles:

        • "TESTCD", "Testcd", "testcd", "TestCD", "Test Cd", "Test CD", "TEST CD", "test cd", "Test cd".
      • To generate a link for an individual survey response, use any of the following column titles:

        • "SurveyResponse", "SurveyResp", "SurveyRes", "ResponseGrp", "ResponseGroup", "SrvResp", "SrvRsp".
  • Email Editor

    • Added the ability to delete images from the image gallery. Note: Deleting an image from the image gallery will cause it to become a broken image in any templates that use it.
  • Event Notebook

    • Functions Tab

      • Added "Wait List" quantity column
    • Manage Floorplan

      • Added the ability to upload a new floorplan image via "Update Floorplan Image" activity button on the floorplan manager modal interface.
  • Function Notebook

    • Profile Tab

      • Added "Wait List Qty" to available fields
    • Attendees Tab

      • Added "Reg ##", "Cancelled?", "Wait List?", and "Wait List Comment" columns to grid

      • Added "Wait List" activity button with options to add and remove function registrants from the wait list

        • When adding or removing registrants from the wait list, staff may assign a new function price and add a comment
  • Individual List

    • Added the EYECOLOR, HAIRCOLOR, and GRADYEAR fields to the Export UI
  • Reference Tables

    • Added API Security Keys (WEB_CLIENTS) reference table.

    • Changed the ITEMALTCD field in the Ledger Item/CD Map (GLACCOUNTMAP) reference table to a free text field when adding a new record.

  • Surveys

    • When viewing a survey or survey response, CV Web 5 templates are now available when the USE_CVWEB5_TEMPLATES CV Online setting is enabled.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed bug where events generated via "Create Duplicate Event" would not properly reflect the triggering user and current time in the UPDATEUSERCD and UPDATETMS fields respectively.

  • Fixed bug where long values for CV Online settings (specifically the EMAIL_INFO_FROMADDR, EMAIL_INFO_FROMNAME, and EMAIL_INFO_REPLYADDR settings) would cause various combos not to load and the CV Online System Settings (CVONLINESETTINGS) reference table to appear empty.

  • Fixed bug where committee notebook "Events" tab applied incorrect event link criteria. Events are now displayed based on a relationship in the ENTITYRELATION table, and list activity buttons allow users to establish or remove a link.

  • Fixed bug where invoices created for advertising orders could have trailing spaces on the "Work Phone" and "Fax Phone" fields.

  • Fixed bug where values in the "Last Reg. Date" and "Early Reg. Ends" event notebook fields could not be cleared out by providing an empty value.
