The ability to embed custom dashboards directly into various notebooks, such as individual, organization, event, product, committee, and chapter notebooks. These dashboards can display filtered data for the active entity and are shared across user roles. Additionally, updates include the option to generate exhibit floorplans directly in CV Online, new activity buttons like "Update Mem Terms" in the Committee Notebook, and improvements to list interfaces for easier searching. Bug fixes address issues such as dropdown value population and email template styling. Overall, these updates enhance usability and functionality across ClearVantage modules.

New Features

  • Notebook Dashboards

    • Added the ability to embed custom dashboards directly into the individual, organization, event, product, committee, and chapter notebooks.

    • Dashboard gadgets can be added directly through the notebook editor in the same manner as any other notebook tab. Three new tab options have been added for each applicable notebook type (e.g. "Member Dashboard 1-3" on the individual notebook).

    • Gadgets added to a notebook dashboard will filter the gadget data where possible to show only records for the active entity. When adding gadgets to a notebook, the "Filterable for this notebook" tag will appear next to the title of any gadget that will be filtered in the current context. On the dashboard, each gadget also indicates its filter status in a comment at the bottom.

    • Notebook dashboard layouts are shared for all users in your user role. Each user role may have distinct notebook gadgets for any notebook type.

    • New baseline gadgets that can take advantage of filtering when viewed in a notebook context may be deployed alongside this update depending on your system configuration. The NB_DASH_ALLOW_DEPLOYGADGETS CVO system setting has been added to qualifying environments.

  • Event Floorplan Updates

    • Added "Generate Floorplan" activity button to Booths tab on event notebook.

      • Allows users to add a new exhibit floorplan directly in CV Online by providing details and generating the associated booths (previously only available in CV Pro).

      • Requires BOOTH_SALES_USE_FPDATA CVO setting and additional configuration.

    • Updated floorplan manager tool to improve usability including keyboard shortcuts, ability to multi-select booths, and more.

Updates

  • Committee Notebook

    • Added "Update Mem Terms" activity button to allow users to specify new committee member term dates and optionally move existing committee members to the history table in bulk.

    • Added "Member History" tab to display history data of past members and terms for this committee.

  • Event Notebook

    • Added "Create Linked Series" activity button and "Linked Series" tab to allow users to create linked series of products and events based on the defined derivative hierarchy.

    • Requires additional system configuration, not enabled in baseline by default.

  • Find Duplicate Individuals

    • Added a "Find Duplicates By" filter to the list. The options are: Default, Dupkey, Primary Email, Any Email, and Web User ID. The "Default" filter requires a match on all fields (Dupkey, Email, Alt. Email, Alt. Email 2, and Web User ID) in order for two records to be considered duplicates.

    • Added the following fields as columns: Dupkey, Email, Alt. Email, Alt. Email 2, and Web User ID.

  • Invoice Item List

    • Added Appeal CD as a column in the baseline list layout.

  • List Interfaces

    • When entering search text in the quick find or in a column filter, users may now wrap their entire value in quotes to search for matches on that exact value as opposed to results that contain the value. For example, a quick find search for the last name of "smit" will only match individuals with the last name "smit" and will not return last names like "smith".

      • This feature will be extended to the typeahead search on the list interfaces in a future update.

  • Opportunity Notebook

    • Updated the "Sales Item" dropdown to filter values based on user input along with the selected sales type.

  • Recent Menu

    • Committees and chapters now appear in the recent menu.

  • Subscription / Membership / Donation Notebook

    • Added "Update Status?" and "Member Status" to the available fields bank (UPDATESTATUSFLG and CUSTOMERSTATUSSTT respectively)

  • Survey List

    • Added the following fields as available columns: UDEF1TXT, UDEF2TXT, UDEF3TXT, UDEF4TXT, and UDEF5TXT.

  • Survey Notebook

    • When viewing survey response charts, added an "Export All Data" option to allow users to export the underlying data for all charts.

    • When viewing responses for a single question, added an "Export Response Breakdown" option to allow users to export the breakdown data for that question.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed bug where dropdown values were not populating when editing a record in a reference table.

  • Fixed bug where users could not delete a chapter officer.

  • Fixed bug where checkout confirmation emails sent to individuals other than the cart owner would use an older version of the confirmation template with different styling.
