Several new features including Invoice Bulk Billing, enabling users to add products to multiple invoices simultaneously with various customization options, and a requirement for state values for specific countries. Updates include enhancements to the checkout interface, document notebook, and various tools like Find Duplicate Individuals and Organizations. Bug fixes address issues such as the inability to open individual notebooks for records with apostrophes in the Web ID field. Additionally, access to certain reference tables is now restricted to System Admins and Financial Admins, and the photo manager now supports adding help text indicating image usage on the public website.

New Features

  • Invoice Bulk Billing

    • Added "Bulk Billing" activity button to the invoice list

      • Allows users to add a selected product to a list of invoices in bulk, or generate new product invoices based on the current invoice list.

      • Users may choose from a variety of discount, shipping method, and date options to achieve the desired invoice configuration.

      • This feature is available to system administrators as well as certification, event, product, subscription, or financial admins.

  • Require State Value for Specified Countries

    • A new STATEFORCNTRY_REQD system setting has been created that accepts a comma-separated list of country names. When any country included in the setting is selected in the country field, users will be required to enter a value in the corresponding state field. The following locations are impacted by the setting:

      • Individual Notebook

      • Organization Notebook

      • Add Contact Form

      • Add Cash Donor Form

      • Add In-Kind Donor Form

Updates

  • Checkout Interface

    • Added "Email Invoice" button to checkout confirmation page

    • Updated behavior so that upon opening checkout the payment number field (credit card or check number depending on active payment batch settings and user permissions) will receive focus by default for more convenient entry. Additionally, tabbing out of the last payment field will send focus to the process payment button rather than the "Back to Cart" button.

  • Document Notebook

    • Added "Attached Locations" tab to identify records to which the given document is attached
  • Find Duplicate Individuals

    • Added "Export" activity button
  • Find Duplicate Organizations

    • Added "Export" activity button
  • Login As User

    • An entry will now be recorded in the customer change log when a staff member initiates login as user
  • Photo Manager

    • Help text that indicates where images are utilized on the public website can now be added to the photo manager using the PHOTO_MANAGER_HELP lookups category. Baseline messages have been added for the event photos.
  • Reference Tables

    • The following reference tables will now only be available to System Admins and Financial Admins:

      • Invoice Age Ranges

      • Ledger Reference Codes

      • Ledger Reference Intercompany Setup

      • Ledger/Item CD Map

      • Payment Methods

      • Payment Terms

  • Table Views

    • The table view columns that will be automatically updated to include hyperlinks are now determined by values in the Table View Actions and Table View Special Columns reference tables.

    • Baseline options have been configured so that existing columns will continue to be converted to hyperlinks as before. New baseline options will be added via the reference tables, and client-specific configuration is now available through this method as well.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed bug where the individual notebook would not open for records with an apostrophe in the Web ID (WEBUSERID) field.
