The Email Template Editor now offers a better user experience and new functionalities, while legacy templates will be editable until June 1, 2024. Enhanced Documentation provides a redesigned interface with improved navigation and search capabilities. Updates include new filters and columns in the Dues/Sub/Don List, configurable required fields logic in the Dues Transaction Notebook, and the addition of a CC Additional Addresses field in the Email Blast Interface. Improvements to the Event Floorplan Builder and Event Notebook enhance usability and functionality, while bug fixes address issues such as incorrect field types and export failures.

New Features

  • Email Template Editor

    • The email editor has been enhanced to offer an improved user experience along with many highly-requested features.
    • Legacy email templates (those built with the previous editor) will continue to be editable until June 1, 2024. After this date they will still be able to be sent but will no longer be available to edit as the legacy email editor will be removed from the application.

  • Enhanced Documentation

    • CV documentation and user guides have been redesigned with an improved look and feel, accessible via "Search CV Documentation" on any help point.
    • When viewing a guide, users can now easily skip to different sections, or transition to different available help resources.
    • The documentation search has been improved, allowing users to search the full text of all resources.

Updates

  • Dues/Sub/Don List

    • Added "Company" filter to the quick find.
    • Added "Company" as a column in the baseline list layout.

  • Dues Transaction Notebook

    • Added a new CVO setting NOTEBOOK_DUES_EZPAYFLDS_REQ. This can be used to turn the new required fields logic on or off (default Y).
      • When the setting is enabled, if "Use EZPay?" (TILLFORBID) is checked, "EZPay Frequency" (EZPAYOPTION), "Payment Method on File?" (PAYMENTMETHODONFILEFLG), and "Payment Method" (CCKEYNUM) will be required fields.
      • If "Use EZPay?" is checked and any of the required fields are not in the notebook layout, the user will receive an alert when trying to save.

  • Email Blast Interface

    • Added "CC Additional Addresses" field. Users may provide a comma-separated list of email addresses and all generated emails will include these as cc recipients along with any additional cc selections. The following list formats are supported:

  • Event Floorplan Builder

    • Double-clicking a booth in the layout now opens the full booth notebook.
    • The booth notebook base layout has been updated for improved readability.

  • Event Notebook

    • Profile
      • A new CVO setting EVT_DEFAULT_TIMES has been added to determine whether the start and end times for an event should be defaulted if they are left blank when creating a new event. The default value is Y (which sets default times and preserves the existing behavior).
      • The "Location" dropdown has been updated to "Load Location", with a "Location Name" field below. This allows users to enter a location name for a single-use location if a value from the location table is not being utilized for the event.
    • Function List
      • The function codes are now links that will open the function notebook when clicked
      • Added "Comment Value" field to the grid to display function comment selections.
    • Price list
      • The price codes are now links that will open the price notebook when clicked.

  • Event Function Notebook

    • The function notebook now opens in a full tab. Additionally the function notebook history tabs can now be configured via the Notebook Editor.

  • People Search

    • Added the option to search for people by first name and last name.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed bug where SHIPTOCD (Ship to Alternate Address) field on individual notebook did not have the correct field type provided by default in the available fields bank.
  • Fixed bug where PRICELISTCD could be missing from the registration notebook hidden fields list in certain scenarios with an older saved notebook layout, causing the value to not be updated in the database if the price type category is changed.
  • Fixed bug where exports would fail when exporting More UDF fields for a list with fewer than 1000 records.
  • Fixed bug where "Duplicate Product" could fail in certain scenarios.
  • Fixed bug where "Delete Floorplan" did not function in some environments.
  • Fixed cosmetic issues with reset password interfaces.
