v1.33.05

This release introduces CV Intelligence (CVI) AI-assisted features including MemberLens, OrgLens, and EventLens for generating engagement, account, and event overviews; ClearQuery for natural-language list searches; and SmartCompose for drafting outreach emails, all managed through a new CV Intelligence Admin screen. CVI requires additional licensing and provisioning by Euclid and will be rolled out gradually. Also included is a new Registration Questions Manager for creating and managing custom event registration questions.

New Features

  • CV Intelligence (CVI)
    • CVI is a new suite of AI-assisted features built directly into ClearVantage. Each feature assembles a focused data packet, sends it to a secure AI service, and returns a result that staff can act on immediately. CVI features are identifiable throughout the application by their gradient buttons.
    • CVI requires additional licensing and provisioning by Euclid. Details on availability and timing will follow the release.
    • MemberLens
      • Added a "MemberLens" button to the Individual Notebook toolbar. MemberLens generates an engagement overview for the individual, a narrative summary, two to three actionable recommendations, and a list of upcoming dates or risks, drawn from the member's membership, event, committee, transaction, and donation history.
      • Each recommendation that calls for outreach includes a "Draft email" button that opens SmartCompose with the matching message type pre-selected and the recommendation carried over as context.
      • Added "MemberLens AI Overview" to the available fields bank so the overview can be embedded directly in the Individual Notebook layout.
    • OrgLens
      • Added an "OrgLens" button to the Organization Notebook toolbar. OrgLens generates an account overview for a member organization, covering membership products, contact counts, event participation, committee representation, speaker history, and financial activity.
      • Added "OrgLens AI Overview" to the available fields bank for embedding the overview in the Organization Notebook layout.
    • EventLens
      • Added an "EventLens" button to the Event Notebook action bar. EventLens generates a pre-event briefing for an event that has not yet started, covering registration status, capacity fill, notable registrants, the speaker lineup, and preparation recommendations. For an event that has started or finished, it generates a post-event analysis covering attendance, revenue, first-time attendees, notable attendees, and follow-up recommendations.
      • The briefing type is determined automatically from the event's start date, and each type is saved separately, so an event can hold both a pre-event briefing and a post-event analysis.
      • Added "EventLens AI Overview" to the available fields bank for embedding the briefing in the Event Notebook layout.
    • ClearQuery
      • Added a "ClearQuery" button next to "Power Search" on the Individual, Organization, and Master Certification lists. Staff describe the list they need in plain language and ClearQuery assembles the equivalent Power Query criteria, runs the search, and displays every criterion it applied for review. Exclusions are supported and are applied as NOT criteria.
      • Results can be opened in the Power Search window using "Refine in Power Search" to adjust the criteria by hand, and rated with thumbs up or thumbs down to improve the recent searches offered to the organization.
      • Recent searches are offered as suggestion cards that can be replayed without generating a new AI request. The new CVI_CLEARQUERY_REPLAYS CV Online setting controls which searches are offered: ALL (default) shows recent searches from across the organization, USER shows only the signed-in user's own searches, and DISABLED hides the cards.
    • SmartCompose
      • Added a "SmartCompose" activity button to the Individual Notebook. Staff select a message type, such as a membership renewal reminder, event invitation, speaker invitation, or thank you, optionally add context to guide the message, and receive two editable drafts written for that purpose: "Draft A — Professional" and "Draft B — Warm & Friendly".
      • Either draft can be edited in place, copied to the clipboard, or sent to the individual directly from the results window using the "Send as" fields.
    • CV Intelligence Admin
      • Added a "CV Intelligence Admin" option to the "CV | Euclid" main menu, available to users with the new "CV Intelligence Admin" permission. The screen provides three tabs:
        • "Usage" reports CVI consumption for the current cycle against the organization's monthly allowance, with breakdowns by feature and by user and a log of recent requests.
        • "Features" switches each CVI feature on or off for the organization. A disabled feature is hidden from all users, and its configuration and usage history are retained.
        • "Configuration" holds per-feature custom instructions and packet options, allowing each organization to tailor terminology, priorities, and the data sections included in a request without a code change.
    • User Notebook
      • Added two new permissions under "Communications and Reporting Permissions":
        • "CV Intelligence User" grants the ability to generate CVI results.
        • "CV Intelligence Admin" grants access to the "CV Intelligence Admin" screen.
    • Generated results for MemberLens, OrgLens, and EventLens are saved and can be regenerated at any time. Opening a panel displays the most recent saved result, and previous results remain available in a history section.
    • CVI features are not available in training or test databases.
    • For more information, see the CV Intelligence guide.
  • Registration Questions Manager
    • Add and edit custom questions for event registrations.
    • Manage the type of question, requirement and label for each registration question.
    • For more information, see the Events guide.

Updates

  • Action Items

    • Added a new "Roles" tab to the action item notebook to allow linking individuals to an action item with a specified role. The list of available roles is pulled from the ACTIONROLE LOOKUPS category.
    • Added the "On Web?" (ONWEBFLG) field to the action item Routing Plan modal.
    • Added "Open Routing Plan" as an available activity button in the action item notebook.
    • Added "Routing Plan" (which contains a link to open the Routing Plan modal), "Routing Step" (ACTIONSTEPTYPE), and "Routing Step Complete?" (ACTIONSTEPCOMPLETEFLG) as available columns in the Action Items tab in the individual and organization notebooks. When added in either location, the columns will also show in the Action Item home dashboard gadget.
    • For more information, see the Action Items guide.
  • Award Nomination Notebook

    • Added the new "UDEF More" tab and "Edit UDF More Layout" activity button.
    • The "UDEF More" tab allows users to view and manage additional user-defined fields for award nominations.
    • For more information, see the Awards guide.
  • Chapter List

    • Added "Type" (TYPE) and "Chapter Type CD" (CHAPTERTYPECD) as available columns.
  • Checkout

    • Added a new CV Online setting, CHECKOUT_COMPANYCD_REQ, that requires a "Company CD" selection to be made in the cart before checkout or invoice creation can be completed. If no company code is available for the user to select, checkout is blocked rather than allowed to proceed without one.
  • Event Notebook

    • Create Registration
      • When an individual already has a registration, another individual can be chosen directly from the warning dialog by selecting the new "Select another individual" option.
  • Individual List

    • "Alt ID" (CUSTOMERALTCD) is now always available as a search by field.
    • A new CV Online setting, LIST_IND_SEARCHBY_DEFAULT, determines the default search field. This defaults to NAMEFIND (Name Find).
    • The LIST_IND_USEALTCDFORNUM CV Online setting determines whether numeric type-ahead searches should default to searching by "Alt ID" (CUSTOMERALTCD) instead of "Member ID" (CUSTOMERCD). This defaults to N.
  • Invoice Adjustments List

    • Added an Active/All filter toggle to make it easier to find active invoice adjustments.
    • Added clear sort and clear filter tools to the top bar.
  • Journey Notebook

    • Moment Editor
      • The email template picker for a journey kicked off by event registration now also includes registration confirmation templates alongside individual and general email templates. Each template in the list is labeled with its type: Individual, General, or Registration.
      • Added a button next to the email template picker that opens the currently selected template directly in the template editor.
  • Manage Data

    • Individual Duplicates
      • Added two new filter modes to the individual duplicate management view. "Duplicates by Alt ID" surfaces individuals that share a non-blank Alt ID (CUSTOMERALTCD) value with at least one other individual record. "Missing Alt ID" surfaces individuals with no Alt ID on record. The Alt ID column is now pinned as a static column in the results grid alongside the existing identifier columns.
    • Organization Duplicates
      • Added a filter selector to the organization duplicate management view. The available modes are: Likely Duplicates (the previous default), Duplicates by Primary Email, Duplicates by Mobile Phone, Duplicates by Alt ID, Missing Primary Email, and Missing Alt ID. The results grid now pins four columns as fixed identifiers: Dupkey, Primary Email, Mobile Phone, and Alt ID (ORGALTCD).
  • Notebook Editor

    • Added a search box to the "Edit Layout" window that filters every field grid, the "Available Fields" bank and all layout sections, by field label or database field name as you type, with a running count of matches.
    • Improved the layout of the "Field Settings" modal and added various usability enhancements.
    • Added the ability to set a min and max value for number fields.
    • Added the ability to open a related notebook from any UDEF#TXT field in cases where the value is an ID that links back to another record.
  • Organization List

    • "Alt ID" (ORGALTCD) and "Search Key" (NAMEFIND) are now always available as a search by field.
    • "Primary Contact" (CONTACTNAME) has been added as a search by field.
    • A new CV Online setting, LIST_ORG_SEARCHBY_DEFAULT, determines the default search field. This defaults to ORGNAME (Org Name).
    • The LIST_ORG_USEALTCDFORNUM CV Online setting determines whether numeric type-ahead searches should default to searching by "Alt ID" (ORGALTCD) instead of "Org ID" (ORGCD). This defaults to N.
    • The LIST_ORG_USENAMEFIND CV Online setting has been deprecated.
  • Payment Batch

    • When the CHECKOUT_COMPANYCD_REQ setting is enabled, starting an existing payment batch or creating a new one is now blocked if the batch's company code is not one of the companies assigned to the current user.
  • Survey Notebook

    • Survey Questions
      • Added a "Question Export Label" field. When populated, this value is displayed alongside the question number in the export UI and the column headers in the generated CSV when using "Export Results".
      • Added two new fields, "Limit Type" and "Limit Quantity" that allow for text input questions to have a character or word limit. The "Limit Type" field allows users to specify whether the limit is based on characters or words, and the "Limit Quantity" field sets the maximum number of characters or words allowed.
      • For more information, see the Survey guide.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where merging two individual or organization records could overwrite the MMC Summary (MMCSUMMARY) field on the target record. This field is now excluded from the merge process and is maintained by its associated trigger.
  • Added the description to the "Degree" field in the Education form and the "Education" history tab in the individual notebook.

CV Web 5 Baseline

  • The CV Web 5 baseline has been updated with new features and fixes.
  • Depending on the member website configuration, additional configuration may be required to activate these enhancements.
  • For complete details, see the release notes on the Euclid support website.
